Our worship gatherings are an expression of God's presence in our community.
While we worship God with our whole lives, we set aside a specific time each Sunday to pause, celebrate and meditate on the movement and character of God.
Because culture is part of our lives and influences our spiritual journey, we use art, poetry, film, television, technology and other elements of popular culture to enhance our gatherings. In this way, we seek to reveal God's pervasive truth in the world around us.
Each of us contributes to the worship experience. Far from being detached observers, we are all producers, creators and participants. Accordingly, our gatherings are flexible and varied, allowing God to interact with us in spontaneous, unique ways.
We try our best to communicate in down-to-earth language. We hope everyone who worships with us will understand the relevance of Jesus in their everyday life.
Our worship gatherings do not provide refuge from the world, but inspire, encourage and equip us to better serve the world. |
