Order of Becoming with Ryan Miller
God has made each of us unique, with different passions, personalities, gifts and strengths. If we can understand who God has made us to be and combine that with our knowledge of His purposes and plan in the world we can get a good idea of our life purpose and calling. In this workshop we’ll explore different areas of who God has made us to be and develop our own personal calling statement.
Find Your True Love with Sam Trommler
Love is the most sought after commodity in our world but at the same time it is the most elusive.  Billions of dollars are spent seeking love.  Songs center on love, commercials capitalize on love, movies captivate us with love.  But marriages exist without love.  Families are falling apart not knowing how to love each other.  Churches sing about love while the individual members are longing for someone to love them.  "What the world needs now is love sweet love, it's the only thing that there's just too little of."  How can we find true love and help others find it?
Sacred Pathways with Rachael Suddarth & Kris Shermer
One reason many Christians become discouraged with their devotional lives is because they've adopted a narrow, cut-and-dried approach--one they're not wired for as individuals. Just like each of us have our unique personalities and temperaments, we also connect to God in different ways. Sacred Pathways explores nine time-tested ways to commune with God that honor the unique design he has given each of us. This workshop will include direct teaching times and opportunities to practice worshiping God in different ways.
Ancient Context: Culture in Jesus' Day with Tim Suddarth
Jesus is the center of our lives and faith but we often are challenged to understand his actions and teachings because we don't accurately understand the culture and times he lived in. In looking more closely at 1st century Israel and its culture, Jesus life and teachings will gain greater clarity and we can follow Him with greater conviction.
Hermeneutics - Huh? with Mike Dickens
The goal of this workshop is to help you know how to better read, study, understand and apply the Bible.  We will look at the importance of not just reading the Bible, but studying it.  Areas such as word meanings, context, history and culture, the author, etc. will be examined as crucial tools in knowing what God is saying to us.  Study and reference books (made of real paper!) will be shown and some brief explanations given as to how to properly use them.  This will be practical and hands on.  There will be a variety of suggested topics to use as an actual case study of putting these new skills into practice.  If time permits, some instruction in leading a Bible study may be presented.
